Beginner’s Smoked Beef Brisket

Set the grill to 180°F / 82°C and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.

Season the brisket generously on both sides with your favorite beef rub.

Combine the broth, vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce in a spray bottle to make the mop.
Step 4
Place the brisket fat-side down on the grates and smoke for 3–4 hours, spraying with the mop every hour.

Cook’s tip: Cook brisket by internal temperature and feel. A probe should slide into the thickest part with almost no resistance.
