The smoker performed exactly as advertised. While there might be some tweaks needed for cleaning up, overall, it performed wonderfully.
The center heat is evenly distributed, and the outer edges are cooler, making it a great place to put food when it needs to stay warm but is essentially done cooking. Easy control for adjusting the amount of heat you want. Easy to clean and a great size to pick up and move if needed.
Moreover, it's spacious enough to accommodate a full 20-pound turkey.
The heating element works similarly to an oven's heating element and is controlled from the outside by a dial, just like those on an electric skillet.
I recommend this smoker, particularly if you live in an apartment. We reside on the ground floor, which makes it even easier to use.
Bought a cover for it to make it last for several seasons. It arrived quickly, on time, and in excellent condition.
Smoked salmon for a light dinner, and it was amazing. Smoky, flaky, and healthy--just what I needed for a relaxing evening.
The material is a bit thin, but it should last a few years. The seams are well-made; only time will tell.
It has kept out the rain better than expected. It appears very durable, and the fit is perfect!
The value of this product is fantastic. It's durable, efficient, and heats up the space quickly. We've used it several times already and are very happy with it.
I needed to replace a natural gas grill that came with the house we purchased.
A good set of tools considering the cost. An excellent griddle cooking starter set.
At less than half the cost of a comparable model, it's both high-quality and versatile.
The PID controller was a big reason I chose this grill, but the temperature seemed to fluctuate more than I expected during longer cooks. I kept checking my separate thermometer because I wasn't comfortable relying entirely on the display.
In addition to being quite durable, the griddle has a great heat dispersion. The food is excellent, and the parties are outside!
I knew a pellet smoker wouldn't heat instantly, but this one requires more waiting than I anticipated. By the time the temperature settles enough for cooking, a quick weeknight dinner no longer feels particularly quick or convenient.
Putting the griddle together was straightforward, and there were no missing parts in the package. It works great for cooking large meals outdoors with mI'mal effort.
I liked that this version came with a cover, but the overall package still didn't meet my expectations. The extra accessory is useful for storage, yet it doesn't make up for the cooking issues I experienced.
The price is what initially drew me in, and I'm so glad I made the purchase. The high BTU really delivers on performance, and the griddle's durable enough for frequent use.
Having a side shelf sounded convenient, but the available workspace feels limited once I put a food tray on it. There's barely enough room left for my thermometer, seasonings, and other tools while I'm actually cooking.
It fit my snowblower perfectly and made my day. This grill cover fits my older KingChii Genesis well.
The PID temperature control sounds great on paper, but my experience wasn't nearly as consistent as expected. During longer smoking sessions, I spent too much time watching the temperature instead of trusting the grill to manage itself.
I live in a small apartment, and I was worried a grill would take up too much space. But this bronze-black grill is the perfect size--it doesn't take up much room and looks great on my balcony.
Automatic pellet feeding was supposed to make smoking easier, but I still found myself checking the fuel and temperature regularly. It reduces some of the work compared with charcoal, but it wasn't the hands-off experience I expected.
We now spend our weekends cooking barbecue because of this grill. It's quite simple to use, and the meal always comes out delicious. When a product improves the quality of life, isn't that fantastic?
The 456-square-inch cooking area is enough for our normal family meals, and the warming rack helps. When several friends come over, though, larger cuts of meat quickly use most of the available cooking space.
The removable oil container helps with grease management, but there's still ash and residue inside that needs regular attention. Cleanup isn't extremely difficult, just more involved than I expected from the product description.
Opening the lid causes a noticeable temperature drop, which isn't surprising, but recovery takes longer than I'd like. During longer smoking sessions, I've learned to avoid checking the meat unless it's really necessary.
